Plan for 2022 (Student Version)
The chapter of 2021 is finally closed. Maybe we didn't give the best we could have..but yes, we learnt something new. Our focus should be keep improving day by day. No one in this world is perfect. Absolutely no one. In reality, there exits no superlative degree as such.
Having a sturdy plan beforehand is of utmost importance. I do agree that every idea doesn't fit for everyone but having a place to which you can refer to is of no harm. In this blog, I give you an idea of how I plan for 2022, and also some tips so that you can create your own personalized plan. And I bet they will work for you!
Write a review for previous year
The first and the most important step for creating a plan which worths is to review your previous year. In which the following points need to be included-
- An intro of yourself to yourself- May sound wierd, but I have experienced that when you introduce yourself to yourself, then it is of the most effective task you are doing. Wait! It doesn't mean the Self Introduction that we used to give in kindergarten, irather it is asking yourself what you actually are. For starters, you might include your hobbies, what you wanted to be and what you are at the present moment, etc.
- Your grades and GPA- Even I agree that Grades aren't everything, but having an overview of your academical performance is quite useful. Evaluate where you were lagging behind and the subject in which your performance should be appreciated, etc. You got the point..
- Your strengths and weakness- Listing your strengths and weakness let you know more about yourself and think about strengthening the strengths and minimizing the weaknesses and maybe, converting them into strength.
- New skills you learnt- It might be coding, dancing, a new yoga asana, or whatever you learnt throughout the entire year.
- Review your family life- In the busy world, we can hardly look forward for a family time. Review how much time did you spent for the family in the last year.
- Ask to yourself-
- Was I able to maintain a work-life balance?
- Am I satisfied with my performace?
- Was I able to fulfil all the resolutions I made the last year?
- Any five things I worked the best in?
- and so-forth
Make your new year resolutions
- Be regular in planning blogs
- Reduce screentime
- Be consistent in studying
- Avoid having backlogs
- Don't save things for weekend
Get started with your planning system
- A place for your to-do list- When you have all the tasks you need to do right in front of you, then half your burden is already gone. Making a todo list is really very simple. All you need is a pen and a paper and that's it. I don't mean that you should stop using the fancy todo lists or those smart apps, I use them to.. Againnnn, You got the point!
- Weekly, daily, monthly planning system- I would recommend Google Calender, but again you can use ready-made weekly planner templates. It basically reflects how you upcoming week is gonna look like. *pro tip- Assign yourself more time then accepted to eack activity or task then expected so that even if the event lasts longer, then the whole schedule is not shuffled.
- Events' planning- List all your upcoming tests, events, festivities beforehand so that you can act upon them accordingly.
